When compounding at, say, 200 grams per
hour, what feeder do you use to add 2 grams per hour? Suppose you
want to materials 'settles out' in the hopper if you premix it. Or
suppose that you want to add the material downstream into a vent
port.
This little volumetric feeder uses a small screw for such tiny quantities of material. There are two ways to use it. Attach the feeder over the hopper and set the rate to minimize settling. Or, just position the feeder over a solids addition port in our tandem line. Features Shown:
