Why waste space with horizontal extruders that don't mount close together? The screws come out through the hopper so you don't waste space to disassemble the extruders and move them away just to pull the screw. 

Our modular feed block is built around production style principles. So, when one layer is too fluid compared to the others (making it uneven), you just change the pin in the feed block from the outside. You don't have to disassemble the feed block and disconnect
the extruders.
