| This little pelletizer is loaded with
features. You know why? Because people kept bringing materials
into our lab that were, to be kind, difficult! It seemed that
R&D people never brought us nice production quality materials.
No. No. Instead, they were absolutely intent on bringing
stuff they couldn't run (best be described as lumpy, bumpy, brittle,
sticky, or slick and, on Monday mornings, all of the above on a rain swept
NJ day!).
We incorporated features to make your
life easier.

Features:
Both nips are driven. When only one nip
is driven, the other roll just idles along and that doesn't help pull
anything. If you have a technician you want to punish, you can
always disconnect the gear that drives the other roll. Then you can
have him manually feed in strands to an idle nip all day
long. |
| Cantilevered design. How
long will it take you lab tech to clean the nip rolls or the cutter if he
can't get at them? (Alternatively, contamination of your samples
will add zest to your material evaluation program) Nip rolls and
cutters wear. Then they need replacement. Choose this user
friendly design where you turn a self aligning collar to remove and
install new parts. This is much easier, if you think about it, than
designs that put the wearing parts between two plates so that you
have to take the whole pelletizer apart because the nip roll wore
out. (On the other hand, do your part to stamp out
unemployment! Keep your lab tech busy disassembling and
assembling.)
Designed in flexibility. In the
field you can change the pellet length, change line speeds, cutting
torque, or add the second drive. If you want, remove the cutter,
change a guard, a shaft, and, voila, the pelletizer is now a two roll
